We are working hard to get the word out to the masses on the Podcaster News Network and thought we would introduce a publicity promotion. From now till the middle of February we will be watching what listeners and podcasters have to say about PCN via their blog entries. We will take the top five submitted entries and give them some free air time across our family of shows.

Why don't you all go see what comes up at Amazon.com when you do a search for Deadwood Season 2? The first item is the deadwood season 1 set, the second item is a little more interesting.

It is simultaneously horrible and hilarious. Shocking and sad at the same time that it's ironic and ridiculous. I read this, and was left speechless and not quite sure what to feel. I did however, laugh.

Blazing Mouse sets fire to house

A US man who threw a mouse onto a pile of burning leaves could only watch in horror as it ran into his house and set the building ablaze.

Luciano Mares, 81, of Fort Sumner, New Mexico, found the mouse in his home and wanted to get rid of it.

"I had some leaves burning outside, so I threw it in the fire, and the mouse was on fire and ran back at the house," he was quoted as saying by AP.

Though no-one was injured, the house and everything in it was destroyed.

Hey there everybody!

I had a blast at Podcastercon2006 on Saturday, and I'll definitely be talking more about that, but for right now I just wanted to go ahead and point out a few things. If you take a look down the right side of the page you'll see I've revamped the sidebar a little bit. It's still kind of a work in progress, but I'm happy with how it's going.

What do you all think?

Also, I wanted to point out that my Pool Rules Cartoon, which has long been available on this site as a flash movie (Click the blue button a little ways down on the sidebar), but now I have it available as a Quicktime, video ipod compatible movie file as well.
