Here's what we talked about for the second to last episode of Survivor Cook Islands

Mike thought he got spoiled, but he was wrong!

Another episode where there wasn't that much real doubt who would be voted out.

Once it got past the immunity challenge, it was just Adam versus Parvati

They had their work cut out for them.

Muddy people are hilarious.

Ozzy figured out that he needed the solid mud rather than just the liquid.

Ozzy is a hell of a competitor. Nothing rattles him.

The winner of the challenge didn't get/have to pick who goes with him. I missed that drama.

Half a pound of mud difference would have had Ozzy alone with Adam AND Parvati

Was Becky just now figuring out that Ozzy's a tough competitor?

Hot mud/milk/rock massage?

The power outage. Staged?

How do small islands get electricity?

Naked hot-tubbing

It really wasn't likely that Ozzy would be swayed, because the best he could do if he switched was a tie.

We predict that Ozzy or Yul will win, but the odds of them being in the final 2 together are slim

Yul is a very smart guy, but sometimes, when he "lays it on the line" he leaves people with a MORE negative impression

It's like a switch flips in his head and he loses all vocal finesse

Mike has started to like Parvati a little more. I agree, that she's more interesting now that she has moved to center stage

All through this season, we start to like people just as they get voted out.

Only surprise in the immunity challenge was that Yul came even close.

Once again, Ozzy was cool as a cucumber

Ozzy was the only one who took his shoes off. Should the others have taken their shoes off too?

Ozzy's monkey-feet

Adam or Parvati. Who was the bigger threat?

Yul messing up the maze.

We agree that Adam hasn't been delivering as much threat as it seems like he would, so Parvati was the right target.

Beck and Sundra certainly contributed to the Aitu four team, but they weren't the power players.

Candice is the "MVP". Completely changed the game with her mutiny.

Yul overreacted to Adam and Parvati's scheming.

Ozzy really isn't playing the social game much at all.

A crazy hypothetical. Who would win if the final two was Adam and Sundra? Becky and Sundra?

Becky and Sundra are sidekicks.

Yul bringing Jonathan's hat. J's reaction seemed completely positive UNTIL Yul "explained"

Why wasn't bringing back the hat a group thing?

Coming up: The finale!

Watching the show "On Demand"

The nicknames.

Here's what we talk about...

I think I have a fever, but can't find my thermometer.

The Scifi Channel's miniseries: "The Lost Room" is really cool.

Jonathan's luck was not to last and we have mixed feelings.

Voting based on strategy versus personality

We're not really seeing what it was that everyone found so annoying about Jonathan.

The scenes before the credits were so unmemorable that we can't remember them.

Parvati cutting her thumb was as we predicted. Probably painful, but otherwise a non-issue.

Reward Challenge: Including the family members in the challenge

Survivor has kind of moved away from the "eating gross things challenges"

Wringing out hair and shirts into the bucket: Fair or not?

How do they pick which family member comes?

No big surprise that Parvati sent Jonathan to Exile Island.

Having Parvati's dad choose who comes along on the reward.

We didn't find the reward super-interesting this time. Fun for them, sure, but not as interesting to watch.

Hiding the coconuts, an ill-conceived plan from the get-go.

The only way we know Jonathan is annoying is because the others say he is.

Jonathan is not subtle, but he is complex.

How astute is Jonathan?

He reminds Mike of one of his coworkers.

People who are annoying and you don't know why. Pheremones?

Mike knew Ozzy would win the challenge as soon as we saw what it was.

Claims that Jonathan doesn't "deserve" to be there.

We think that Jonathan in the final Tribal Council would have been too predictable.

Voting on personality versus strategy Take 2

Is there any way to get rid of Yul's idol?

Scenes from next time: Swaying Ozzy?

Mike reconsiders his position a little bit from a few weeks back.
