I went to Japan!

Japan is not cool... It is hot and humid. In August, anyway. Still awesome though.

I got very sweaty

I air out the dirty laundry.

Currency Conversions

"What, don't I look half-Japanese?"

How I conned my family into helping me go to Japan.

Worldcon was fun.

I learned the dance from the end credits of "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya"

Creepy/Cool Anime costumes (Check out the picture)

Are electronics and such cheaper in Japan? Short answer: No

Akihabara = Otaku Mecca

Japan is expensive

Kabuki is interesting, but frankly not very accessible if you don't speak the language.

The more-interesting-than-you-might-expect origin of Kabuki theater and its female inventor

I learned a little bit of Japanese... we were not like Marcus Brody.
