Funny, I just finished reading a section in "Everything Bad is Good for You" about how lowered dopamine levels create the urge to search even harder for "rewards". And we know dopamine plays a key role in addiction. The name "dopamine agonist" suggests the drug lowers dopamine levels. I wonder, if they expanded the study to include all obsessive-compulsive behaviour, would they see an overall increase? Not just in compulsive gambling?
