I agree that the firing of four people was a stunt, but I don't think it was a bad stunt. They all really blew it, it was hard to pin it on one person. Although I think Jennifer was pretty bad. I really liked how they sat in the taxi together without saying anything, that was funny.
I may concede that none of them did a great job, and maybe even that both Josh and Jennifer deserved to be fired, but the other two guys didn't screw up big enough to deserve being fired for it.
Sure, one guy came up with the batting cage idea, but it was the execution of that that bombed, not the concept. And the other guy? He got fired for running the pitching machine, for crying out loud! Someone had to do it, and presumably he was delegated. What was he supposed to do? Write product names on the ball and then aim for the batter's face?
It was a terrible loss, and none of the four did particularly well, but firing four at once screws with the whole structure of the competition and isn't really fair, in my opinion.
